Wewwww!!! Tomorrow will be the first time that I've got to go deer hunting since I shot and lost that buck... I did make it to the lease today to check cameras and boy do I have a stud!!! Hopefully in the morning he'll mess up and I can put him on the ground.

Thanks man!!! I apologize again guys for not being very active lately. I've got 3 deer left to cut up but we ran out of beef fat so couldn't finish them up. I'm going hunting anyway because this weekend starts our rifle season.

Wow. He is a stud! I hope you get him. Good luck tomorrow! I will finally be able to get out and hunt this weekend! I am off all next week and plan to get some serious hunting therapy in. Lol. I am hoping to get a doe and a buck. It is my annual Kentucky vacation at my parents house with top notch hunting. Good luck to everyone as the rut is starting to heat up!

Thanks! I needed it. I was beginning to doubt everything I have been doing. While he’s not the age or class I was hoping for, I am pretty happy with it....for this season. January 7th it all starts over again :)

Slickbilly congrats on a great buck!! And congrats to widerack14 on your doe! Well my Ohio trip has ended and unfortunately I was not able to put an arrow in a buck. I saw 9 bucks over the week and passed on three smaller bucks a 5 pointer a 6 pointer and a 100" 7 pointer. Did have two really close encounters with a 130" 8 pointer and a 135" 10 pointer that I just couldn't get them into position for a shot. I have two more days of season here at home so I hope to see a buck before it goes out!

Well team...I am driving to Kentucky for my annual family/Thanksgiving trip (hunting trip in my mind lol)!!! It is my dads land that has always done very well for me. I will be there for a full week and plan to hunt a lot. I am looking to put down a doe and also a buck. So Lord willing, we will be getting some serious points soon. Good luck to anyone who is hunting. Let's do this!!

Put my bow up for sale, bought a Halon 32. I guess since I’m done hunting it’d be okay to put some corn out. We can’t bait here in Indiana, but I can’t find anything in the rules that says I can’t feed wildlife and take pics of them with my trail cam. I bought new batteries for both cameras. Going to set one up on the outside of a locust thinket to see what is making a highway in and out of there.

Well guys my archery season here in Jersey has officially ended. Unfortunately I was not able to harvest a deer during this time but the first week of December I will be back at it again during the 6 day firearm season and hopefully I can get lucky!! In the meantime I am headed to Pennsylvania to my father in laws cabin this Saturday for the first 3 days of rifle season next week! Good luck to all of you who are still hunting!!

Good to see some guys have put some points on the board!! Sorry I haven't been on much lately just have a lot of things going on, and my season wasn't going to well. I was on vacation last week and hunted everyday but Thursday and Friday afternoon (Sunday's as well since we cant here in Maine). I hadn't seen a deer all year since our season started in early September, but Saturday morning I did see a doe and a spike horn. The doe didn't give me a shot, but the spike gave me a 17 yard chip shot and I drilled him. I wouldn't normally shoot a spike but with the way my season has been going and the shot he gave me I just couldn't pass it up! Plus I still have three more weeks to fill another buck tag and 3 doe tags, with one of those weeks being a week I'm on vacation!

I'll get the pics posted into the scorecard here shortly, add another 50 points for us!

I just realized the pictures I took in the woods I didn't have my bow with me. I'll have to get a couple with my bow before I cut him up.

The leaf on the front of his chest is the entrance hole, it exited just behind the opposite shoulder. The killzone maxx put a monster hole in him!
