Thanks, guys. I’m going to try my best. I often find it funny that it seems the same people I know kill big deer year in and year out. I’ve asked, wondered, and observed how they seem to wind up with these opportunities every season. I see deer and am very thankful, but I am failing to see the missing link in the way I hunt and where I hunt. Unless it’s luck that I’m missing... and I’ve never had a whole lot of that to spare lol
I have the same problem I've seen many deer pretty much every year I've hunted just don't see a lot of nice bucks if any I've had a chance at 2 wall mounters few little bucks but that's it one of these years we should cash in sometime if we put in the time Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Yeah, I am pretty much in the same boat as y'all. Every year my brothers wife gets the big buck on my parents property...although she cheats (gun hunts). I always seem to score on the little bucks or doe, but I am not complaining. It makes for some great deer meat. Like you said...if we put in the time and be patient, our time is coming. Saw 3 does, was ready to draw on the closest, but got busted by another mid draw. Saw the little 8, then saw a coyote about 15 yards in front of him. He took off and then circled back around. I watched him for a little while...looks to be a nice 2yo. Bummed about the does, but that’s part of it. They’re moving good with this cold weather. Hope all is well for everybody else!
I am on stand it got warmer today than the past few days but we will see. Could get lucky. Good luck to anyone else who is hunting! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
