All I saw after that was another yearling and momma 45 minutes before dark but they stayed to far behind me and never made it out to the edge.

Well saw two. I was hunting about 40 yards inside the woods on a bottle neck. I saw one hop out into the field in the east corner. The other one came through his like I’d hoped....except about 15 minutes to dark. My strategies are working awesome, I’m seeing deer, everything else just quite hasn’t panned out.

I have been out the last two mornings and out this afternoon. Temperatures have been really warm and that has really slowed things down. Hopefully it cools off again soon.

I've got a Viper that I love. It squeaked at first too. Someone told me to file the paint off the teeth where it digs into the tree and that worked. Doesn't make a sound now.

Congrats to you both, that is awesome!!

I'm headed out this afternoon, big rain storm coming the next 3 days are going to be a wash.. They are saying 3-5" of rain before it's done. We need it bad though. Hoping the deer will be moving ahead of the storm!

No luck guys, thought for sure they would be moving as the temps dropped quickly and rain started to move in. They are there, just not when I am!!

Aight guys.... I am going to start posting stuff about the youth hunt as I get it done. First, lets remember the buck that gave his all for this to happen! I named him "Baby" as soon as I seen him.

I believe this was the last night of him and his mom together!!!

Temps have dropped off here. I’m supposed to pick up a new(to me) truck one day this week so I’m going to hit my parents up in the morning on whatever day I go get the truck. Other than that I’m waiting until after Sunday. I have Monday the 30th through the Tuesday the 7th off. I’m going to hunt till I drop with some all day sits in there also.

    Ready to get my truck!
