At work to tonight. I got my new climber all set up and ready to go for tomorrow. Still not sure where I want to hunt, but I’ll be out in the morning in a tree somewhere for sure.

Haven't been able to make it on lately, been a very busy week for me. Congrats on the redemption triebs! I was able to get out last night and Tuesday night, but no sightings...

Thanks, ended up going to my parents. Saw a young 8pt. He came in directly behind me about 9:30 and didn’t present any kind of shot. He’ll be a nice buck if he makes it two more years. Getting ready to pack up and head home, get the yard mowed, and hit a new spot I’m pretty excited about tonight.

Oh yeah. I love just being in the woods. Seeing deer is a big plus. At least it looks like the deer are still putting in laps on our old motocross track at my parents.
In a tree on the back side of a field in a bottle neck by a pine thicket... on a ridge, by a saddle. Wind blowing my scent out in to the field. Hoping to see something stage up before they hit this field. Lots of rubs and they’ve got a road beat through here. The only thing that’s not on my side is the temperature.
Well no dice last night while hunting with the boss. I just got into a different stand tonight on a different property and jumped a bedded doe that was napping at the base of my tree. She didn't blow or anything so I should still be somewhat safe. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
