It looks like it's someone's initials and a cross and the line above it might be the heavens???? Its definitely neat either way!

Beautiful view! That looks like a great spot! Especially if you saw all those deer! Only a matter of time now!

Had a 2.5 yo eight or nine point come though. It set up perfect just like this stand is supposed to work just the wrong deer. He was about a 115” buck. I’m amped now! Watched him for about 25 mins at a water hole until he made his way past the stand broadside at 15 yards. He didn’t have a clue I was there, but I’m not sure if I can make it out without bumping him. First one I’ve seen this year!

I have decided to give the lease a rest until Friday... Friday is the start of youth rifle season and I'm taking my 10 year old nephew on his first ever deer hunt/deer camping trip. I'll be busy the next couple of days getting him ready for it. Hopefully we can get his hunt captured on film as well. He's excited but I think I'm a little more excited than he is... I've always wanted a little hunting buddy lol. Anyway, my hunting is on standby until we get him a deer.

That’s what’s it’s all about man! I have some nephews but they’re not into it. Maybe when they get a little older.

I’m heading out here in a few minutes. 38 degrees this morning! Good luck to everyone that’s hitting the woods today

Saw the same buck tonight. Watched through the binoculars while he was bedded down. It was pretty neat. He’d close his eyes for a little bit, open them, grab a bite, and then doze back off. Eating while laying down! He went the opposite direction as last night.

Before that I watched two coons climb to the top of a persimmon tree and go out on branches that weren’t engineered for their weight. That was pretty entertaining. Fun night! Didn’t see anything this morning though

I'm looking forward to it... we shot today and he actually impressed me! We shot the 30-30 twice and he was about 1" high and almost touched both rounds. He's still got short arm syndrome so it's hard for me to find a gun for him to shoot. We'll have that solved by next year though if he enjoys hunting this year.

We'll definitely get some footage... may just be a lot of goofing off lol. Gotta make it fun somehow!
