So I was extremely late this morning lol. Like by the time I got to my blind, I could see like 80 yards haha. But I noticed on my camera the deer moving around 0800, so I wasn't to concerned.

Around 0700, I had two unknown deer come up just where I could see their legs and then spooked off from something. 0745 two more deer came up, possibly same deer, but they just fed on by about 80 yards from me. 0820 3 deer came from behind me, stomped and then blew lol. 0829 I notice a doe head. How did I not hear them??? I drew back about to take a quartering away shot when she turned and was facing me straight on. That's when I noticed the other doe "the one I shot". I turned on her but she was in some thick stuff, she went to where that other doe was still standing facing me but this one was broadside well quarter to me a bit. The only problem is.... where I needed to put the arrow this other doe is in the way. Finally the one I shot takes a couple steps and I cream her. I put the arrow at the point of the shoulder and it exited right behind the opposite shoulder. She ran 50 yards and crashed. It was such a beautiful morning and to get some fresh meat sure is nice. Heck of a birthday present. Anyway that's pretty much how my hunt went. 0829 I notice doe. 0830 I shoot my doe but it seemed like minutes went by at full draw lol.

Lol I hate turkeys. I’m debating on going out tomorrow before work and setting in my low impact stand. I have a camera right there so I’ll check it if I go out.

That happened to me last year. I’ve even looked through the scope during gun season and said “okay, that’s not a button buck, definitely a doe”.....button buck it is lol
