Alright gents, I plan to hunt this evening in a stand that has a great wind direction for me. Also, it's the one where the deer have been killing the corn. Good luck @USAF Bowhunter, I’m not sure where I’m hunting this evening, but I’ll be out for sure. My morning hunt didn’t pan out the way I’d hoped. The rain never let up until I got back to the house at 11:45. I was next to a bedding area, and hoping the rain would keep them down until it let up so they would hopefully grab a drink and some acorns around 11. Didn’t happen, just rain.
Well, figured I'd post A pic of my bow since it's a lazy day for me lol. I'll be going tomorrow around noon to check cameras. I'm hoping I'll have some type of daytime activity.

I got all ready to go, set out for the stand I was in this morning, and I didn’t make it but about 40 yards from the edge of the yard and was sweating. It was 80 degrees and 85% humidity. I turned around, hung my clothes up, and went to the liquor store. I was going to hunt on the backside of a freshly picked bean field at my parents in hopes for a doe this evening, but it’s still raining up there. I checked my cameras and activity has really fallen off since the acorn drop and then the picked all the beans this week. So they’re holed up in areas I can’t hunt, but nobody hunts there either. I’m gonna go ahead and say it’ll be the end of October before I see any action. At least that’s how it was last year
Yeah I feel you about the heat and lack of activity. I want to go so bad but My cameras say to wait. It'll get better for all of us soon. We just got to be patient. Lol

I'll be in the woods in the morning if it isn't storming to bad. After that I'll be hanging a stand and moving a blind and checking some cameras and getting ready for the cool front coming in mid week next week. Anyone that's hunting tomorrow I wish you luck.
Got out a couple times this week but it has been hot and very slow!! Saw a couple does and some small bucks. Looks like rain the next two days here and it is not going to cool off until the end of the week now! Good luck to everyone in the woods!!
Well I ended up not going this morning because of the "storm" coming.... yeah it died out before it got here smh. So I'm gonna go check some cameras and put a stand up. Might hunt this evening depending on when I get that done. Good luck to anyone hunting this evening.
