Nothing like the sound of white acorns dropping in Sept.

We'll just a few doe's and maybe a small buck on camera. No bears though which is a good thing lol.

Yeah man normally the second week of October is when we start getting decent buck traffic. Idk why but it's always right before our muzzleloader season we start getting good bucks on camera.

Opening day my weather app is showing wind out of the north west, not sure how accurate, but I’m gonna go with it. Also, temps are dropping off. So I’m going to hit my stand back by a bedding area. This camera is about 10 yards from my stand. I was intending to save this stand for later in October but with the wind direction and temp drop, I’m going to give it a shot. Hopefully get a shot at this guy before he moves to a different fall range like he did last year. [IMG]

I’d like to get a look at him in person. I don’t know if he’s really as big as the pic makes him out to be. Could be 120”, could be 145”

Im gonna give it a shot. Hopefully the wind does what it says it’s going to do. It’s a very risky stand about 75 yards from a bedding area. If nothing works out the first day, then I won’t be back in that stand for a few weeks. I want to keep it fresh for the pre rut/ rut.
