Checking in from Missouri as well. I'm Chris and I mostly hunt my wife's family's 220 acre farm but do some public land hunting also. Wish it wasn't so dang hot out for opening weekend this weekend. I can't wait to get in the woods!

Hey guys, I'm Eric and I'm from Maine. This is my 4th year doing the contest, missed the sign up date and luckily they are letting the alternates have their own team! I hunt Maine, and normally take a trip to SW Illinois the 2nd week of November. Not able to make the IL trip this year as I have a 3 month old at home to look after. Our season opened up a week ago today, hoping to put a doe on the ground here shortly!
I've been saving up my vacation time to sprinkle in some hunting days in October, but have already taken off Oct 30th through November 8th. One of areas I am hunting is rampant with does, and then the area 40acres behind my house seems to have a solid class of 140" bucks that pass through to a bedding area I hunt near. I passed this 8 pt four times last year waiting on 170-ish" to show. Cmon 10/1!
