I think Im going to switch properties. The wind switched on me dramatically and is going against me Sent from my SM-G892A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
That is a good looking spot. Looks like a river bottom similar to what I have found on public. Should be good movement through there. Are you in a transition between bedding areas?
Yeah I have bedding to the east and west. I don’t know if they are going to move with this crazy wind though. I’m getting like sustained 26mph winds.
I'll probably be going Wednesday morning, most of the day Thursday, and Friday evening. Friday morning looks like more heavy rain. Like to get out Saturday too.
This is my last evening out this week. Have a pheasant hunting trip over the weekend Sent from my SM-G892A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I think the high wind slows down movement, but if a hot doe comes through all bets are off. I saw two small bucks so far this morning, I’m gonna brave out the wind hoping to get lucky and have a hot mama come past. Be safe to all who is hunting!
I was going to skip tonight’s hunt because of the wind but my neighbor sent me a bunch of videos of 4 bucks locked onto a hot doe including my #1, so I setup 300 yards north in the same valley and after 2 hours of watching trees fall i moved to the ground not far away. Just didn’t feel safe. I hope it’s not this windy tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I mean did the bad weather ever keep you from wanting to get some lol Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
So i saw a young half rack and a button buck on the run, my brother filmed a 3 year old we call “future” and then our #1 but he picked him off in the tree. Tomorrow is my last day before a few days of work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We slept in yesterday morning but went out at 11 for the day. I’m up in Kansas till Friday. Sat all day today. Saw 10 does and 2 bucks. One was a shooter. He was just across the property line though. Both were chasing pretty hard. Tomorrow and Thursday should be great here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
