I’m still getting rained on, 4th or 5th day in a row. Can’t stand it...half my vacation has been wasted with pouring rains and there’s lots of flooding here. Don't think we pushed him. Blood was always close so he wasn't moving fast. He was walking. Started following the trail almost 1 1\2 hours after I shot him. Blood was pretty solid and steady til he clotted up. With there being no beds on the track job I'm skeptical of the hit. Plus the arrow did have a trace of blood but barely any. I don't know, I've seen bucks take some shots over the years and seen them survive. They are so stinking tough. But we will look again and the neighbors all know so we shall see here.
Well. I ended up seeing two little bucks. One on the walk in and one 20 min before last light. I can’t seem to find a mature buck anywhere. Be back at it in the morning. At least deer cast app says great for tomorrow lol. It said poor today.
Tomorrow is shaping up to be the day. Temps in the 30s, pressure 30, NW steady wind, November 3rd...can’t ask for much better. I’ll be filming my buddy on his farm in the morning and hunting the evening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
