An elk bow hunt is a dream hunt for me some day in the near future.

I am not 100% positive yet, but I may also be getting an archery moose tag.

Here's a pic of my 3rd and final mini food plot around one of my stands. I laid the seed in this one yesterday and I saw a few small green buds popping up already. Note to self and others, if you want your batteries to last, use Duracell. This last time I bought energizers trying to save a few bucks. Ha! Last season I had Duracell and they lasted all season. The Energizers lasted me about 1 month. 20180818_165600.jpg

I had been debating about putting this guy on the hit list or giving him 1 more year. What do you guys think? 20180818_174124.jpg 20180818_174307.jpg

Looks like everyone is hard at it, I just got back from Ohio. Cut shooting lanes, moved some stands and scouted a whole new area I just got permission to hunt. Looks really nice, hung some cams, I’ll be going back in a few weeks. Shawn hard to tell from the pic but that deer looks younger to me. Good looking rack tho.

Yeah, I'm thinking he is a 3 year old. I'm also thinking this is his father who was shot last year. 20171104_203258.jpg

Any idea how old the deer that may be Dad was? Also, if you get one, post a broadside pick. Alot easier to telll when the deet is broadside. I would guess at least 3 but possibly older. Good
    Looking deer either way.
