It's going to take a hound she run me through that creek like she knew I was tracking....I waited too..blade suggest a shoulder blade. When I found the arrow 2 of 3 blades weren't open. Not sure about that there was plenty of reaction and blood. At the creek is were I lost sign it was the 3rd time she crossed it. In fact she walked down it for a ways.. Definitely sounds like you pushed her. Maybe just get out of the area and go back with an hour or so of light and try again or just wait til morning.

Well I talked with my dad and he doesn't seem to think I pushed her or hit the lungs and after looking closer at the arrow I'm sure I didn't. The wound has clotted. I'm going to look in the morning with help in the only spot I didn't check. It's so thick she should feel safe enough to bed down in it. I'm worried the broadhead didn't open up all the way as it passed through and broke on the way out so the wound is small. Over 18" of arrow still in her though so she definitely not going to make it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The last one I lost was cause I was new to bow hunting and I didn't get him to stop, something I took for granted using a gun. Anyway I shot him in the butt...lol found were he dropped and somebody else took him and my arrow. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Man that’s rough. Good luck getting her, what Broadheads your shooting? I never had a BH break apart into pieces! I’m in a stand now in Ohio, woods are so green still.

You Ohio guys make sure to look at the hourly wind forecast before heading out this evening. Mine has the wind switching at 6pm from NW to SW. right at prime time.
