Seriously...if butchering we at least need to know what Went out and finalized some more stands before season starts. I remember when I was younger and had way less responsibility in life and was able to make it out much quicker than 5 days before the season starts lol. I cleaned some shooting lanes and added some new straps to some hang on stands. Feeling good about everything.

I feel like during deer season I am a professional sulker when I am not hunting lol. I am still trying to figure out how to pull off sitting in a stand next Monday on the 1st when the season opens.
Went and did some shooting this evening. All was well, both me and my grandson. Tomorrow going to freshen up some corn piles and check cams and make sure I have everything ready for Saturday morning. Depending on the cams may determine where I'll sit for the morning and evening hunts.

One more day!! Putting the final touches on things and I’ll be in the stand tomorrow afternoon. I really wish I had a morning spot but I’d have to bust deer out of the fields to get in.
I’m originally from Louisiana and I thought I’d eaten a bunch of crazy stuff. I can honestly say I’ve never heard of eating a bobcat. Taste like chicken? Lol
