Here's a question? Why will some pictures post in the context of your post but others you have to click on them to see them?
Always wondered the same thing! Figured it's always user error on my part lol Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I wonder if that beard is actually normal on that Turkey but maybe it's the angle? It does appear to be somewhat thin Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Here's more pics of another stand site. Out of all my stands I have probably killed more deer out of this stand over the last 8 or 9 years than any other stand. Including my last buck in 2016 which was a 130 inch 11 point.
I got out hunting last night. I had 6 doe, fawn and a spike buck come by. One doe ate acorns below my stand for a half hour. I was at a field edge so the were out before sunset. Going to sit at a couple stands deeper in the trees the next couple nights. A buddy is coming up hunting with me so hopefully if a doe comes by she will not get a pass like the other ones. Just got back from elk/ deer camp for final lane Check and yardage shots, since I don't like using a rangefinder in the stand. Farthest shot is 63 yards. Perfect. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I feel a little better now. I just hung my last stand finally. Hoping we get some rain tomorrow to wash away my scent from today. Good luck to those already out.
I got the majority of my stands trimmed and ready to go yesterday, just gotta hang some bow hangers and pull up ropes and I’ll be ready to rock n roll. Current landscape for deer: The bottom pic is my brothers farm which I may sit a few times during the rut. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Wow those are really nice bucks! I finally got my first good deer on camera. Will post pictures soon.
My neighbor just sent me an updated post velvet of my #1, gives me something to target in the early season! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great video work Siman and those are some good looking bucks you have to chase this season. This is actually the first year in a long time that I don’t have a single camera out. Ive thought about it but I think I’m going to go back to the old school way of no cameras this season, that may change as the season goes on if I find a particular buck I want to target. I miss not knowing what’s out there and the anticipation of anything is possible. I’ve also noticed myself letting the cameras dictate if I hunt, telling myself “I don’t have a shooter on camera”. At least my spots are seeing less pressure anyway lol.
Jason I dont put cameras on every property simply because I dont have enough cameras to do so. There is definitely an element of surprise on those properties not knowing what is walking around! Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
