Looks like we’re all checked in. Gonna be WET for my shoot tomorrow, 2-3” of rain. Still haven’t checked cams, food plots still doing bad. Seen some guys cutting silage already, beans are turning yellow. Missing opening weekend of hunting for Ohio last weekend of September. Not much else to report, keep the chatter up guys. So I've got a wedding this afternoon. Then I've got my sisters wedding in 2 weeks in Florida. Thought about squeezing in a hog hunt in Florida but didn't have time. At least this is all happening before deer season starts.
So far these are my 3 best bucks I have on my cams. I know of at least 6 other bucks that are bigger. 3 are 170+ and the other 3 are 140-170. I just haven't got those bucks on my cams yet. I'm hoping with this huge weather change the next time I check my cams some of the big boys might show up.
Here are pics of the 6 deer from last year. These are all big bodied brutes. I have seen all 6 of these deer in the bean fields. Now I'm just waiting for them to show on my cams. Hoping the weather change brings them in.

I know all us Ohio guys are getting this mega rain fall. Is anyone else getting a lot of rain right now?
SW Pa is getting a good bit as well, 100% all day today and rained most of yesterday. Nice and cool out to, high of 60 yesrerday.
Most of my going slow but I have a few spots I know from seasons past, so I’m not to worried this early. I’m taking a buddy of mine that just started hunting last year a few time this year. Hopefully I can help him get his first bow kill deer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The double doe kill was a great hunt. A 6 point walk around when I dropped the 2nd one, he never heard her hit the ground. I hit her in the spine dropped instantly without a sound. It was awesome. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Just ran out and checked the camera behind my house. Has some good potential if I can catch them in daylight. Got my best buck back there 2 seasons ago. I had this one up close and then had a nice 8 in the background again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m just glad we aren’t getting the heavy rain they called for initially. Just planted a plot and don’t want the seeds washing.
Trying to think back of all my buck kills. I have mounted most of them. Big, small, and in between. I have shoulder mounts, euro mounts, and just racks on plaques. There were a few I didn't have done. But, if I counted correctly I have 30 buck kills over the years. 29 of them were with either a compound or crossbow. Only my first buck was with a gun. As far as does go, well I probably have a 100 or more.
