This is the deer I will be putting my time in for this year. I have him on camera after season so I know he is still around.
Checking in. My name is Adam, I hunt central Arkansas. Right now it looks like I have permission on two private spots; one is 800 acres, but will probably be mostly a gun season spot. The access is through my wife's uncle and he does not bow hunt. I am not sure if I will be able to access the property without him going as well. But, I plan on bow hunting even if it is gun season. There is also a 5 acre piece that will be suburban hunting in a housing development just outside city limits. The owner of this pieces sees about an 8 deer doe group in her yard almost nightly and wants them thinned out because they eat her flowers. She also invited me to take my older boys there to try and get there first deer. One of my goals is to get my first archery deer on public land. In addition, I would like for both of my older boys to get their first deer. I will be missing the opening weekend in Arkansas as I will be hunting elk in Alberta September 19th - 28th. Hoping to get my first elk with a bow on that hunt. This is my fourth year in the contest.
Hey Adam, where at in central Arkansas are you located? I’m just outside of Cabot myself. If time permits, maybe we can hit up wattensaw or one of the other Emma’s around here if you’re over in this side of LR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I live in off I-430 and Cantrell in West Little Rock. But that sounds like a good idea. I have never hunted Wattensaw. I typically hunt Bell Slough or Camp Robinson SUA if I am hitting public land. I have duck hunted near Hazen but not deer hunted.
Still waiting on Shawn Clark to check in. Pretty sure he and I were on the same team one year before.
I'm from northern AR and it's my 1st elk hunt private land . Good luck Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
You drew an Arkansas elk tag? Or are you going out of state? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Whats up everyone, looks like a good group of dudes from all over. I’ll start thinking of some names, as far as captain I’m not on hear as much as I have been in the past, but I could fill the shoes if need be. I think there’s others that are more involved than I.
Ive wanted to try camp Robinson but never made over towards it. I’ve hunted wattensaw, cypress bayou, & Holland bottoms since we moved here. Mainly hunt my backyard and wattensaw off and on now a days when my daughter lets me take my bow, lol. We’re focusing on her first buck when we hunt here majority of the time. I’ll do most of my hunting in NELA. I should be pulling my card from down there this weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just saw that the teams were picked. Hello everyone! I'm from east central Ohio and will do most of my hunting in Tuscarawas county this year. I have a number of studs to choose from this year. Unfortunately most of my big boys have evaded my cameras but here is a nice 9 I have on camera.
Here's a few I've seen in the fields this summer but no pics yet. These are from trail cams last year.
So as you all can see I have a nice lot to choose from this year. Really hoping to lay the smack down on that big brow one. I saw him in the field earlier and he is an absolute giant this year. I believe he surpasses 200" with no problem.
I haven't got cameras out yet at the lease but should in the next week or so. We don't get started till end of Sept first of Oct Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk
