We start Sept. 15, but I won't be back in time for the opener. It will be the 2nd weekend before I can get in a stand.

 

Went and did a cam check this morning before work and found a couple nice surprises. One buck appeared to be a buck named TNT. I believe him to be 5.5 this year, but he didn't add much for growth from last year. He is one of those bucks that won't ever have much headgear. He is a high 120s, 130ish slick 8 pt and I would be happy to kill him if he came by. The other is a buck that I don't know who he is for sure. He is a mainframe 9 with a kicker off his right G2 and I think that he is 4.5 at least and will go in the 140s. I'm heading tomorrow to hang a stand in an area that had countless rubs in it last year and a giant primary scrape. It's an awesome transition area and I will probably hunt it the last week of October at the earliest.

 

Here's a few more ideas (as if there weren't enough). It's my first year in the contest so hopefully none of these have been used:
