Well, I'm working tonight, but I'll be in the tree tomorrow morning. I'm gonna start working on the outside of that 7.5 year old buck's core area and work my way in over the next couple weeks. Still trying to get my wife a deer. If that buck that she passed before comes by I'm afraid she may go ahead and give him an arrow in the pump station. I went back and looked at some more pics of him and he is a very nice deer. She has never killed a buck with her bow, but I honestly hope she kills him. I think he will be about 130" or so, so I hope he comes by her again.

I am pumped. Just did a cam check and the bucks have been demolishing my mock scrape. I've got 1 that I will shoot for sure and another I don't know. Either way, I have a really good feeling about tonight.

IMAG0081.jpg took another little doe tonight with the muzzle loader. Saw about 7 all small does/buttonbucks.

The buck that I went in for showed up, he stayed just out of range though. I'm optimistic I will be able to get a shot at him next week though.

Good luck peak. I am working nights this week, so I should be able to hunt almost every morning. And the temps will be below freezing for the first time this year. Gonna be a good week.

In stand now but wind forced me in a stand I would peg as least productive potential...but it's hunting so you never know.

Went out this afternoon and saw a group of 4 does. Still no sign of antlers on the farm, I know they are there but this year has been strange.

Been out off and on last week. Lots of does, 1.5yr olds, and fawns. No signs on the bigger fellas yet. We have a front coming this week that will be dropping the temps almost 20 degrees! Excited.

I moved my stand a little ways closer to where the nice 9 pointer came out the other day. I like my new setup a lot better now because of the area I can cover. I'm hoping later this week that same 9 will do what he did on Saturday. If so, he just might end up on the scorecard for us. Good luck to any of you guys out hunting this week.

Passed 50pts for us yesterday evening because of the much bigger 50pts standing next to her behind a limb:D Problem is, she never presented me a shot:) Oh well. There will be others.

    Cool Jerry!
As for me I have picked the wrong time of year to get a chest and sinus cold. I will battle through it and get out this afternoon.
