Glad to have you on the team (As long as you are good at killing big bucks) Haha. I'm guessing this is your first contest?

First year on this contest, been in others. Been having pretty good luck the last few years on good bucks. Nothing is for sure, but I will give it my best shot.

You will have a good time. Looks like our team is shaping up to be a pretty good one. It'll be great as long as everybody participates and doesn't leave us high and dry in the middle of the contest.

gltomp checking in! Upstate NY old man. Went dry last year (let a couple young ones walk) but not this year! I'm also hunting a new farm and I'll be heading to Maryland too on 11/4 to hunt on an Amish Farm that is loaded with BIG bucks (so my buddy says).

Can't wait for season to start! Oh... and I'm retired (sort of) so I plan on being in the woods often!

Checking in from central Minnesota. 3 weeks to season opener, and looking forward to it. I'm probably the oldest "rookie" in this contest. Turned 50 this year and never did any hunting until 3 years ago. A friend bought 80 acres and told me I was going deer hunting with him. Hunted firearms only for the first two seasons and thought it would be more fun to hunt with a bow, besides the fact that it gives me an excuse to be in the woods more.

About me: My name is Joel. I have a wonderful and understanding wife and a(n) (almost) two year old son. I hunt 3 different properties; a family farm, my cabin and a friends woods. I do have some management to do at the cabin so expecting a doe for sure. Have a few prospects and am really looking forward to the middle of September.

Thanks Tony, we had a great time last year. I predict that you are gonna put down a really nice buck this year, especially with the encounters you had during the rut last year. I'm pullin for ya!

Alright I've got a minute here, most of y'all probably don't know me. I've been a member since last year but during the off season I haunt a few firearms forums and put all thoughts of bow season aside. My name is Alex and I'm 31 years old. I have a wife( who has made great strides in coming to grips with my obsessions) and two boys ages 8 and 9. I'm hoping to get them both in the woods more this year. I hunt primarily in Harford co. MD but take a trip to Athens OH every November. I'm good for an automatic 50 with the zoo full of does I hunt. And hopefuly my buck. Score will come from Ohio . There a few nice bucks on my home turf last year I took an old 9 who was busted up bad (pics on here somewhere) but if I score in Ohio it'll be better for sure. Looking forward to season, September 7!
