That doe stuck around too long, now she's coming home with me.

Sorry I didn't take any pics but that one when you reminded me. Most does look the same and I don't usually get out the camera.

Sitting in the stand this morning. Not a whole lot going on though. I checked the camera on the way in and deer have been here about every morning, so we will wait and see. I know the wife is ready to thump one. Just hoping for a doe, it's not too much to ask.

    Hope you feel better beav.

As for my hunt I was able to get out Thursday evening but not the stand that I originally planned to hunt. (I had a lot of farm work to do the next day to help out.)
My step took that stand so I had to go with my back stand which I did not see a thing. He told me he had
been hunting my hot stand and numerous buck sightings and even a chance at a the big 10. Both his shoulders seem
to be shot from years of farming and he can't seem to pull the bow back now. He goes to the doc this coming week so hopefully he can work out something here in Wisconsin and get a crossbow license. He has been bow hunting a long time and only has
1 archery buck but I would of loved for him to get that big 10. All my hard work with him has finally paid off via nagging him about smoking from the stand hunting no matter what way the wind blow and all the other things you could do wrong. Kind of sucks to have that buck at 10 yards and not get him. So my next job is to get that crossbow in his hands and get him.
I know we have a contest going here and I should get my chance at a shooter but I want so badly him to get his hands around
a Big buck once in his lifetime.

Alright now onto continuing the season. I should be back out Monday afternoon locally depending on how the wind is which I will check. Next weekend my work schedule changes to Sunday and Monday nights off. I am looking forward to this big time because all the weekenders will be gone for the most part and I should be able to get some good hunting in.

Everyone how about a status update? What ya got going on?

Last reminder on your kills. 2 pictures with you, the deer, and bow are required.

    Thanks team and good luck!

In the stand right now that I killed my buck out of last year. Got a mock scrape and camera set up earlier and am waiting for the deer to show up.

Could somebody tell me how to attach pictures from my phone? For some reason I can choose the pic I want but it won't let me upload the file. I used to be able to do it with my old phone, but I have the 4s now and I can't figure out what is wrong.

My wife just let a high 120s 10 walk by at 10 yards. I like passing young deer, but that sure would've been a nice first archery buck.

Been seeing deer every night out, but not the one I'm after. A lot of season to go.

All I need is an address and I will come take care of that 10. High 120's is a great buck, and I can't seem to break the 9pt barrier.

She was on the fence about shooting, but knew he was just too young. She wouldn't have been happy with him since we only get to shoot one buck per year off this property. I think it will pay off for her later in the season.

I'm sure it will, I wasn't giving you a hard time. I'm just jealous is all. I have yet to see a buck this year, does behind every tree at times but not so much as a spike. We get a total of 4 bucks here one for each season and a bonus you can buy after taking two does. And we have an unlimited amount of antlerless tags.

Took a bunch of Amish guys to Lancaster Auction Sat am (3am). Season starts here Tuesday (:woot:)... can't wait! Will be hunting a week in MD (Charlotte Hall area) in about 3 weeks... hope to find all those does you've been seeing Ruger. And, hopefully a BIG buck! I've seen racks that some of the Amish guys have shot from that area in the 130+ class.

For some reason... I'm more pumped this year than I've been in many!

had to look Charlotte Hall up on a map, that's way down there. Are you hunting public or private?
