Alex, outstanding man! Man you are a fast learner. Coming out of the gate swinging this year.

I got something on my mind team.
I don't understand all these hunters this close to the season that keep going in and out checking their cams. I know they say put them in places where to scout but not currently hunting. I'm willing to bet that most of them hunt the same exact spots. This possibly can't be good so am I missing something?

I know I back off checking mine this time of year and mine are in VERY accessible areas. I suppose it really comes down to the pressure your area receives and the human activity levels. Granted, I still believe a MATURE deer, regardless of human pressure, is going to alter his behavior if you keep coming in regularly checking cameras.

Exactly Matt on the muture bucks. You see them putting cameras up get a mature buck then all of a sudden where did he go I just keep getting small bucks and does now or night time pics.

I made my last check at the end of August and won't be back in the area until I have my bow in my hand. No point in risking anything.

I'm heading out tonight fellas! Should be to our area in CO tomorrow evening sometime and hike in on Friday. Hope to have some pics to post when I get back. Hopefully with me behind an elk and my bow laying across it.
