Finally put my ladder stand up today. Man I hate that thing. I remember why I only move it every couple of years. I'm still trying to figure out why I was so proud of myself when I figured out how to install it by myself. It so much better packing that thing in and out All By Yourself. On the plus side I found a new bedding area about 80 yards north of the stand. They were real warm, since there were big brown creatures in them.
hopefully those big brown things are still there at the start of the season. today went pretty well. got the food plot started up. trail cams had 2 bucks from last time on it and 2 new ones i havent seen before. the does are looking much fatter and healthier. the fawns have mostly lost their spots and have grown immensely in the last 3 weeks.
anybody make it out into the woods yet that has a sept 1st start date? I know you Sept 15th guys must be gettin antsy. my season is still 24 days away.
