I shot my practice killzone broadheads today

 

Im going on vacation till tuesday. Good luck with your hunts and the WI opener on the 15th !

 

Who is all ready for the season? been seeing alot of deer and getting my bow all set up. Got some pics from my other property of a nice 130 class 8pt but hes the only pictures ive gotten so far so thats kind of depressing.

 

Hung my last stand yesterday. Had a 20 minute stand motionless on the steps while a 4 pointer milled around under me. Poor youngin didn't have a clue.

Sorry I haven't checked in for a bit, just been kinda busy and then bummed. My grandfather passed a week before the opener, but I managed to drag my butt out of bed and sit on my uncle's 30 acres opening morning. Didn't see a thing, and didn't hunt at all the rest of that weekend.

Put in eight hours of stand time on public land this weekend so far, hunting a rub line, still haven't managed to see a thing. Gonna give it another go in about three hours and hope something shows.

I hope this season isn't a repeat of the last, I had close to eighty hours in a tree before I ever loosed an arrow.

Four sits at four hours a pop, zero deer. Sixteen hours of stand time with no dice, sweet. :S

i sat yesterday morning for 6 hours. didn't see a single thing. My father went at night and saw a big doe but got befor he got a shot off. rained out today hopefully i can get in tomorrow after noon. ill be keeping you guys posted.

 

hey. sorry i havent been to active the last few days. I have been super swamped with school.

but im getting ready for the season. set a stand up, and checked some cameras done. Im super excited cause i finally relocated the big buck im after. I will be sitting over that trail october 1st.

I shot the doe right before ark,watched her bed down and i left stand and came back in morning.I got there and she wasnt there.Followed the trail for 200 more yards and lost blood.Went out monday and looked and nothing.

 

That really sucks !!

are there any water sources near by ?

 

Yeah there was a creek and I walked up and down that 2 times then I got permission monday to a neibors crp ans nothing.

 

Man that sucks. Youll get the next one.
