Here's our team list. Names will be highlighted as we check-in.

Just a little about me, my name is John and I live in NW Arkansas. I have been bowhunting for 29 years in the Ozarks. This year the season opens two weeks early, starting September 15. I can't wait.

What's up guys?? Hoping for another good season this fall! I've got 5-6 different bucks on trail cam this summer that I'd like to shoot, so they're definitely out there. Just need to do my part and put myself in the right place at the right time.

Looks like we need to pick ourselves a Captain, and also come up with some sort of team name. I'm totally open for suggestions, so post away!

Howdy guys! A little bio on myself is that my name is Caleb and I've been hunting central MN my whole life, archery for only the last 5 years. Last year I missed out on the contest by a couple weeks, so I'm itching to get some points on the board! I like the sound of "The Thwack Pack" Justin!

    hi bobcat031 checking in

I'm from Michigan and have been bow hunting for 35+ years. Im not a trophy rack hunter. I like a big rack as much as the next guy. But I love a freezer full of venison. My son in law Evilstuff and I hunt together and I guess he was on the winning team last season. He's posted some pics off our deer cams. Looking forward to the season. Hope I can contribute some points!

Finally got enough rain to put some water back in my pond. Nearly 1 1/2" so far today with more on the way this evening. This is the first year I can remember that it has went dry. Lots of tracks around it, hopefully I'll get some good pics soon. No shooter bucks yet for me.

I'll take Captain duties unless someone else wants them?

Here's two bucks I'm chasing this fall. The first is a 150's 10 point with a kicker that may squeak in as an 11th.

This guy here is a mainframe 9 point with a big kicker on his right G2. He's at least 4, maybe 5 judging from the pictures. He hasn't grown much at all the past couple of seasons, but I'd still put an arrow through him if he shows up.

Nice, Justin. Good luck with them. I've been to your area of IL many times. My Grandparents lived in Mt. Prospect most of their lives. My dad is still up there and I also have an aunt and uncle in Arlington Hts.

Very cool! There's some good deer in the area if you can find a spot to hunt them. I'm extremely fortunate to have a relatively large piece of ground only 20 minutes from home which is where I'll spend most of my time this fall. I'm about 40 minutes or so North of Arlington Heights.

If we don't hear from the rest of the team in a few days I'll start PMing/emailing them to come check in. Seems like every year we get a few no-shows and we need to find replacements.

Anyone have any other team name suggestions for us?? Or are we just going with The Thwack Pack for now?

Hey guys. Looking forward to the season. Should be fun checking in with you all and sharing what's going on. I'm hunting small timber plots here in NE Ohio. Can't wait to put some deer on the ground!

My name is Jeff I hunt in Massachusetts and Maine. Started bow hunting in 2008 but been hunting my whole life. Should be able to put 2 big bucks down for the team. Doing tons of scouting and did my first food plot on private land this year. Team name sounds good and I vote for Justin for captain too. Can't wait for October 15th to get here!!!

Good to meet you guys! Sounds like we've got a pretty good group of bowhunters so far. We should have a good shot to make a run for the title this year.

My goal is one doe and one buck that's 140 or better. I know I've got 5-6 different ones between the two farms I hunt so it could happen. I just need the weather to cooperate come November and it's on.

I haven't got pics of any bucks over 100" yet this year, but I moved some cams around last weekend and I'm hoping that will do the trick. I've seen some good ones in the past in these areas. Also got a couple of small food plots put in last weekend. We are expecting heavy rain from Iscac friday and saturday.
