Since we have decided upon a name for team, has anyone thought about or have any ideas for avatar or logo?
Spent most of the day freshening up mineral sights and putting in my throw and grow food plot deep in the woods acrossed the street from my house!! If only it was that easy "Throw and Grow" I cleared about a 1/4 acre area added lime and fertilizer . We will see how it goes. If it works out this year I might make it a little bigger next year.
Checked cameras and finished off one of our last stands last night. Lots of deer pics. The avatar thing does not matter to me. I will vote yes for anything.
Not really. I have one camera that I am following (4) shooters with, but only check that cam every (3) weeks. We planted sunflowers for doves and mow and weeded it last week. The deer and turkeys were in there it seemed like every (3) hours. I have a stand on one of the main trails and hope to shoot a doe there early. The other (2) cameras we checked had normal activity, but no shooters. When we weed (till, weed eat, manually pull) the sunflowers for doves we take it to dirt and I am guessing the turkeys like that? I know the doves do.
Looks good to me. Nice deer too. Should be some solid potential for deer. I've been seeing my 8's almost every night so unless things change tons should have good chance at sending an arrow in a few weeks. Otherwise last cam check had a few 6's I hadn't seen before too. Bigger ones have been pretty scarce but checking other cams maybe in a week or two, could be interesting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The bucks are starting to change patterns a bit in my area and I'm not getting them on camera as frequently. The does and fawns on the other hand are there twice a day, every day, which is fine with me. Where the does are the bucks will be too come the rut. I can't wait for some early season afternoon hunts to try and get one of our target bucks. I was skunked last year for the first time in 4 years and it's been a LONG offseason.
Heck I am just hoping to get my cameras out this week. It is 95 degrees here right now so I am guessing that stuff isn't moving too much
