Well guys I talked to my dad last night and he checked a couple of his trail cams and the buck I shot on New Years showed up on his cam 4 days later so it looks like he will make it! I checked one of my cams last night and I have an 8 point that showed up early yesterday morning so I will be heading there tonight!
Hunted this morning saw a couple small bucks and D7 which he already dropped a side of his horns so no shooters. Checked cams and have two 8 pointers on cam at different stand locations.
So I am real sorry that I basically dropped off the face of planet. I had a new born son and that has taken up every bit of free time that I have had. I have known that I needed to get on and submit my buck. He was nothing to write home about but I decided to take him and it was a great hunt. Hope all is well with everyone else in the group.
Congrats on your buck!! I am still at it with 4 more days to go! I hope to make something happen to end this season on some sort of good note !! We got a little snow hope they move tonight.
