If we all score does and a couple drop a buck, we should be in the running. Team 6 is leading right now with mostly does and a couple bucks. Lets go get them!!!

went out last night with my buddy Ryan was sitting about 300 yards from him. saw some deer. had one small buck come into the doe decoy. got down from the tree and I look at my phone. It said "Hit One". Ryan shot the other bigger buck that we have been seeing. With Tim shooting the big 8 and Ryan shooting this one it's going to be tough dropping another big buck on the farm. He had the Boss Buck out. This buck came in and snort wheezed at it. Ryan shot it at about 7 yards.

I passed on an 8 pointer today. 120 class like the one I shot, not as wide but taller tines. Had him at 10 yards and he had no clue.

I've been putting some serious hours in the stand the last 2 weeks, and keep striking out. This year is by far the most frustrating year I've ever had. I sat all day Wednesday and Friday, saw 15 deer over those 2 days, but it's only been small bucks and little does. MN shotgun season started on Saturday, and I'm really hoping the 2 big bucks make it through. The area I hunt gets very little pressure during bow season but absolutely get's pounded during shotgun season.

I might sit on Wednesday in MN with the bow, and will be sitting all day Friday in northern WI. After that I'm busy with school and some other stuff I've been neglecting all season. I'll be hitting it hard again after WI rifle season.

Well guys let me start by apologizing for not being that vocal this year on the forums. It has been a rough fall for me with work and other commitments. I haven’t been out in the woods all that much this year and have only seen a handful of deer on stand thus far. I had a rare day off today and decided to get my but out to the farm to see if I could make something happen. I got up in stand around 3:15 PM (I decided to sleep in today and not hunt the mourning) this afternoon in a timber finger that extends out 60 yards into a cut bean field. There is a small drainage ravine that runs thru the center of this finger and there is a lot of good deer sign on either side of it with a large scrape at the tip. Around 3:45 I hear what sounds like a deer running to the west of me. I decide to give a few short grunts from my grunt tube with no luck. About 15 min later from the tip of the timber finger I hear some movement. I turn to look thru the trees and see antlers moving my way. I grab my bow and stand waiting for him to come into the open so I can get a good look at him. The next thing I know I have a GIANT standing 15 yards from me with no clue on earth im even there. Fellas I am sold on Predator Camo! This buck looked directly up at me and never even saw me! I let him get a little past me and made a 10 yard quartering away shot that ended with me arrow lodged in his off shoulder. He made a 180 and ran out into the open field and I watched him pile up about 75 yards from where I shot him. Im happy I saw him drop and he ran out into the field, not into the timber, because there was no blood trail to follow due to the lack of an exit hole and the high angle of the shot on him. Any ways here he is boys…All 146 4/8 of him! This is by far my biggest archery deer.

Evidently someone did not post their doe correctly on the scorecard, because we did not get credit for one of them.

Probably talking about me. I accidentally deleted the footage I had when I was editing it up. The only pics I have where of the deer with my rage hole. I wouldn't worry about it though. I can put another one down whenever. Only going for a buck right now.
