Peggman I pm’d you. Looks like you are missing the time of day in your score card post. If you could update it that would be good. Not sure how strict they are about those details but better safe than sorry.

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] hung a killer set up today! Nice spot for the rut/gun season for me. So excited to hunt it, flooded timber to my left, (kicked out about 2 dozen wood ducks walking in which has me excited to duck hunt in 2 weeks now) swampy marsh in front of me with rubs and trails everywhere, hay field with a big oak and scrapes in it to my right and standing beans behind me! This cold front is gonna get the deer moving this weekend and I can’t wait to hunt!

Looks like a good spot andrew18. I’m taking my kids for the duck opener Saturday here in Michigan. Going to deer hunt Friday evening with this cold Front coming through! Can’t wait

She was actually looking at me broadside. The day before she blew at me so she knew right where I was at and when I shot she tried to duck the arrow and when she did that’s where it hit. Trust me. I was aimed up on the lungs. This was a absolute luck shot!

I really should have taken today off work. Saw several bucks and a bunch of deer driving in this morning. Going to hunt some new ground with a good friend this weekend so I have no ideas about anything. I typically hunt uplands, ridges/benches/etc. Gonna be hunting bottomland timber this weekend. Looking like 2" of rain forecast Saturday evening/night, so that's gonna knock out at least one hunt this weekend.

Hunting a property I haven’t hunted yet this year! Almost a 30 degree temp drop in 2 days should see some activity

Well up at 0400, at my parking spot by 0550. Rain set in about 0600... was going to just tough it out until it started coming down harder. Decided to scrub it when I saw that noaa had upped the chances to 80% for the next 5 hours... worst part of it is I just ordered some nice first lite rain gear but ended up having to send the jacket back to get a different size. Sure looking like I could have used it this weekend...

Finally in a tree. Light rain. 40’degress. Bumped a deer under my stand on the way in. Guess that’s what I get for being late.

Should be up in a tree this afternoon if I can successfully get into my farm. We have had over 11 inches of rain the last week and my drive is .5 miles of mud. Fingers crossed! When do you guys switch to hunting morning? I usually wait until almost last week of October. Good luck today guys!

I went in last night and this morning blind, on a new piece of public land. Only deer I saw yesterday, I found a spot I liked, looked around and found a tree. Took 1 step toward it and spooked a doe.

Then this morning, I had located a spot on an aerial, and when I was about 50 yards away from there, I saw eyes. Couldn't help but turn on the high beam. And wouldn't you know it was a mature buck... he was just about 45 minutes early to the party.

Otherwise, it's been very uneventful aside from squirrels, and these giant evil clouds of mosquitos... this morning was literally the worst of my life as far as being attacked by mosquitoes.

Depends what I’m going after. I get does on trail camera in morning often since they bed near and I property I hunt. Bucks tend to bed on neighbors property so don’t see too much buck movement until last week of October and on.
