Nice man, have fun and enjoy! Nothing much on my end, trying to stay out of my spots until the season gets going, but I may possibly hang a stand or two on Saturday or Sunday if we get the rain we are suppose to, but I'll see how that goes. Going to put my new threads I just got in the mail from Hutch at Bow String Depot on my Prime Rize this weekend so I can get her dialed in and ready!

Just got off the phone with my buddy after he sent me a trail cam pic yesterday of the bear I was hoping to get a shot at when I get up there on the 20th. Got me really excited, but then he told me one of our buddies is up there now hunting, so I have some mixed emotions LOL. He passed two smaller ones last night waiting for this one so its the one we both want, but the bad part is I'm home working until I leave and he's actually there right now putting in the stand time! AHHHHH!!!!!!
My buddy who's property it is tag his bear on Tuesday morning, 200 lbs dressed. Guessing the bear in the trail cam pic taken yesterday is at least double that.
I should be getting some more pics soon hopefully as he updates me. He did mention to me the other day that they seem to be going nockturnal so that has me a little worried, but I am placing an order now for some goodness to add to the bait sites to hopefully pull them in. There's only about 120lbs left of sunflower seeds and a little less than half of a 50 gallon drum of mixed oats. I'm going with more Black Oil Sunflower Seeds cause they seem to love it, Butter Popcorn drizzled with maple syrup, Candy Pop Corn, Kettle Corn, and glazed doughnuts. Top that off with some Beaver Castor and hopefully can pull one in during shooting hours! Just restrung my Prime Rize with some Bow String Depot threads and shooting bullet holes last night! Ordered up some Sitka Gear also, which I'm pumped about! Been wanting to pull the trigger on some for a little while now. We are getting closer!!!!
Season starts this Saturday for me. Storms expected and supposed to be warm compared to what we've had the last few days. I'll still likely go out since it's opener.
My family and I were just evacuated from the outer banks in North Carolina.. wedding was yesterday so we are happy we were able to marry before this happened. Scary, I pray for everyone on the east coast. I just arrived home, long 10 hour drive especially with a 2 year old lol
Thanks feels good to be home, guess I'll spend the next few days hanging sets, prepping blinds, and fertilizing plots. Maybe check a few cameras

I made it out today to hit the plots with nitrogen, over seed with winter rye, and installed a waterhole on the Candy Shop Plot. Everything is looking great, few more stands and blinds to hang/brush in and I'm ready for September 29th
Thanks we are home in Pennsylvania now, I feel horrible for all of those getting pounded by this storm.. life changing
