Slow evening on stand, saw 1 deer I'm like wth... not use to the low numbers I've seen the last few hunts. Hopefully it picks up this week. I'll wack a doe to get my final 50 points. Goodluck guys

Rain the next few days, so I wont be working much I'll try to get in stand when it's not down pouring. Checked 5 cameras today on a few different properties all look promising. Brushed in a blind on the edge of a standing corn field, that is directly beside a clover field. I also fired up a mock scrape 20 yards from blind. If weather allows I will sneak in there in the morning if not I'll be out in the evening
Pretty uneventful weekend for me as well. Just does and small bucks all weekend, haven't seen the "action" I feel like I should be seeing for being in November now. Hopefully that changes soon! Good luck everyone!
Yep I agree action in my part of northeastern Pennsylvania hasnt been much, cams are showing bucks on scrapes/transitioning but haven't seen much chasing. Woke up this morning to go out and rain was coming down hard so went back to bed.. might head to stand for evening hunt around 345. Very excited to hunt blind I brushed in yesterday, in theory with it raining hard all day like it did one would think they will be up and moving soon.
Yea, I was going to call out of work sick today, but when the rain came in for most of the day I decided to head back home late last night and just suck it up and go to work today. Not a happy camper today though lol. I took off next Monday though so I'll go hard with 3 full day sits and see what happens! I'm getting anxious cause our waterfowl season starts soon and I like to tag out before that starts cause there is nothing like it, so I am feeling the pressure right about now!
Put an arrow into one of my hitlisters this evening shot felt good, body language of deer running in my opinion was good hit. Cant find bolt, guessing it's still in him and no blood at impact. Rain came in so unfortunately I'll be looking for a body. Say a prayer for me guys..
A buddy jumped him out of bed next to road along a creek, went into thick stuff. Tried everything to get a shot on him again but cant find him since. May have snuck out across field and didnt see him come out... idk. My buddy said he wouldn't run but didnt look like he was in horrible condition, I'll watch for buzzards, and monitor cameras. Damm rain eliminated my blood trail, so I dont know how well my dog would do
Good luck finding that buck! I won’t be able to hunt prior to leaving for Missouri on Saturday. I’m tempted to bring my bow. It’s rifle season and if I have the opportunity to shoot one that’s much better than I can shoot here in MD I feel like I need to use what’s going to give me the best chance of a kill. Checking in guys. I was out last weekend with my rifle and saw a lot of small bucks chasing. Passed on a lot of smaller deer. Will be out this afternoon with my bow and rifle. Hope to get out tomorrow evening and then will be out this weekend too. Got real cold here with lows hitting single digits. Hope that gets the deer moving a bit.
Been a slow couple days for me, archery season ends on monday. Then comes in the day after xmas until mid January. I'll be out Tomorrow evening, and then majority of monday
Hows it going guys? I didn't make it out yesterday due to my brothers baby shower and I was on daddy duty so my wife could hunt. She almost got it done on a wide 3 year old 6 point but was a little farther than what she felt comfortable shooting. We will be out tomorrow which unfortunately is the last day of the early season here in Pennsylvania. Goodluck guys let's get some points on the board!
