Ended up making it out to property one last time to pull cards, got a couple good shooters and one good 2.5 year old.
I think this is the earliest my team has ever been on the board before, Thanks Matt!! My 10 day count down starts today, have some sighting in to do with the Mathews and some new camo to break in but, other than that i am ready to slay something. Not sure what stand I will tamper with for a doe but a big matriarch may change my mind.
Good luck, it felt good to hear the arrow connect. Then it didn't feel good to get it out, loaded, and cut up...too damn hot. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Sitting in the ground blind waiting for first light on opening morning. Getting in a short hunt before work.
are you shooting FOB's? maybe arrow tuning? If you are dropping your arm and aiming at the heart, I don't get how you're high and right.
Heading to camp Friday night for archery opener on Saturday, going to stay the weekend or until my father or I shoot a deer. Going to be raining on and off with a low of 50°. If the wind works in my favor I should be able to get something done this weekend.
Good luck No.6! The weekend forecast is for rain here as well. I don't know if I will make it out this weekend. I'm dying to get out, but I keep telling myself to be patient, and not over do it in the early season. The last couple of years I've killed a doe very early in the season and I think may have spooked some bucks from my area. I also got another good buck on camera.
Well only went out Sunday for the opening weekend. Saw some movement in bucks but nothing big and never had a chance at a trophy doe..will be back next Sunday!
I was out last night and saw a couple of does. It was one of those nights when it just seemed like a buck might step out at any minute.
Quiet group lately, hopefully you are all out hunting! Had a wedding to attend this weekend and it was a total bummer because the weather here was amazing, in the 40's at night and barely hitting 60 in the afternoon. Hoping to be out all this weekend if homework cooperates.
