I got the gorilla and its looking like ill be getting to test it out tomorrow, its gonna rain so ill be outta work early if I even go in at all. Dad just sent me a pic from one of his cameras of a monster 8 . Rack spreads his ears and all his tines are nice and tall, but his body...his body is huuuge haha, but that's dads buck...I got something in store I'm keeping under wraps for now : ) hopefully ill be able to share this THING with our team... I'll check back in tomorrow to let you guys know what's goin on

Went out this evening. Saw several does but no bone other than a real nice Buck we jumped going in . My buddy went with me and hunted just up the hill from me. Met him at dark and he tells me he shot the biggest Buck of his life. He was shooting a crossbow and shot it from the ground. Going back to help him find it in the morn. There are some real monsters on the property and he's saying 150 inches. It was 15 feet from him when he shot. He feels real good about the shot but is apprehensive about going in for it tonight. Hope we find him.
I saw the buck I call Too Tall tonight at 70 yards. Couldn't get him to come over so I could introduce myself though. What a magnificent specimen! TOO TALL SPEED LIMIT DRIPTINE
This damn weird weather we are having in Iowa sucks. Woke up this morning to 70 degree temps and a thunderstorm rumbling through.
Yep, went through here too. Had a couple lightning strikes really close, but didn't see anything smouldering when I got up this morning. We ended up with an inch of rain.
She is small but she is meat in the freezer and 50 points in the board. Ill post in the score thread when I get home.
No luck for me this past weekend. Saw 2 nice bucks but that was on the way back to the house. Ill try again soon.
Shes posted. I wrote the little story there so check her out if you would like. Not real happy how the shot turned out, got lucky that I didnt wound her. Least it was a good outcome.
