Crap dude! I thought you were going to say sliced yourself on a broadhead or your hunting knife or maybe you should have :( But a dish washing accident? That sucks.

Well got asked to become a member of No Limit Outdoors Tri-state today. Gonna be doing some filming for them and with them and making a dvd after the season. Hopefully will get some good footage, rigged up my cam today so I can mount it to my bow to get some good film of my shots. Hopefully after the season they will ask me to be on the pro-staff, they have a few small sponsors, but its a place to start. If yall are on facebook stop by the page and give them a like and maybe drop my name, any little bit helps to spread the word. http://www.facebook.com/nolimit.outdoors1?fref=ts or stop by the website http://www.nolimitoutdoors.com

    Thanks, Tony!

Team, sorry for the crappy pictures. I only had my cell, and we were in a thick area right before dark, so...yeah, they're not great, and embarassing for a photography teacher.

She came out with another doe and a fawn, fed on some clover in my main plot before working her way toward me. I had several shots at 25yds, but knew she would get closer, and with the rain forecast to move in over night, I wanted the closest shot possible. She ended up giving be a 15yd broadside shot, she crashed three times, with the last being slightly out of sight. Ended up finding out I double lunged her (wasn't sure of the hit at first), but I'm happy to put meat in the freezer, points on the board, and now on to the bucks!

Congratulations on the doe, thats another 50 on the board!
I havent been able to put more points on the board but have been out in the woods since I took my buck. I have actually been able to take a few friends of mine, 1 was able to take his first ever deer, a nice 8 point in full velvet, another just two nights ago took his first ever buck with a bow, and one more was able to take a doe which was his first ever deer. It's been a great year and was awesome to be able to share all those hunts with some great friends and memories they wont ever forget. Now that crossbow season is in I will be hunting with my wife, this is her first year ever hunting so maybe we will get lucky once again!

View from the stand last night. Hunting just off of a large winter wheat field with a major trail entering it just in front of my tree. I had a real monster come through here last season and I messed it up. Maybe I'll see him again this season.

Went scouting today, found a nice scrape, and a few real fresh rubs. It's in an old abandoned Apple orchard overgrown with prickers, grapes, and tons of other stuff. Overgrown is an under statement.Theres also a big oak block on a hill with a nasty swamp at the bottom. I think I'm going to spend some time there this year. Theres also another place I have an old climber stand , but its way left of where I need to be, and where I thought the action was. I've only sat in it a few times. It was more to get that old stand outta the house. But Google maps shows me a different point of view that is just screaming at me. It's a big nasty swamp that's on the edge of one of the biggest , thickest blocks of woods around. Not 200 yards away from the swamp is a huge apple orchard and corn fields, where I've seen does ,fawns and a few young bucks coming from in the morning. I know that forest holds a handful of bruisers that disappear come fall. I know the does are just hanging at the edge of that swamp during the day. There's no need for them to go far in , the forest is full of acorns . When all those doe are in estrus theres no way one of those bruisers won't slip up and come poking around during the day. I wish you guys could see this place. I'm not a field hunting kinda guy, I wanna be in the burly stuff where some big old swamp donkey crawls out haha that's just me . If anyone feels like checking it out on Google ill tell ya where it is
