I would say thats pretty close for having all those points and not being a professional scorer lol

I'm sure accuracy measuring isn't nearly as easy when a big dog grows a bunch of junk.

Yah, he has a crazy rack for sure. Probably would have never been that close if I wouldn't have e-mailed an official scorer for a ruling when I measured him.

The trick is to tape the point as you do them, that way your not second guessing yourself. The best buck for a non-typical I scored is 237 with 23 points that were scorable. Love the challenge of a Non-typical that they present. Takes the boredom out of a typical rack to score. Not saying scoring a typical rack insn't easy, it's just more, how do I say it! Relaxing.

Out of curiosity... Anybody find any sheds from there "target" bucks? What about trail cam pics in late season? I know at least a couple of you had your eye on specific animals... Ever see them again?

I pulled all my cameras besides two and I havent checked them since Nov. Havent made it out shed hunting yet we still have about 2 foot of snow then got hit with another 6in yesterday. Weather looks like its going to start warming up so hopefully it melts some snow and I can get out to the public land and find those two bucks sheds since I know for sure they made it throught the season. Hopefully the squirrels didnt get them yet

Don't have cams up and don't have deer overwinter my property. Shed hunting new piece and have found some nice ones that got me excited for upcoming year.

    What is a shed? :P

I've tried to forget about my hunting season, so I've been doing a lot of fishing. This was today's limit.

Super jealous. Wish we had better eye fishing in these parts. Not near enough of them and not near big enough. Must head north!
