M-80XD? I'm not sure how much of a step up the M-880 is to that.

It's m80 mini cam. One of them I have has been sent in and replaced for a third time this fall. Their customer service has tested my patience this year to say the least!

Just waiting it to warm up a little bit. I may try to get out some tomorrow. Suppose to be 40 degrees. Not sure how it will make it being the low is -2. Ideally I like to wait until Feb but being I don't have exclusive access to most the properties I hunt I have to get out their early. It does however make it hard to want to walk the property again at a later date.

I agree. I have never looked this early before but all the reports saying they are dropping already I figured I might as well. Supposed to warm up here into the lower 30s this weekend so will be a good day to get out and get some exercise. Plus I'll be walking areas I have never been to before so getting an extra scouting trip in never hurts.

I would go by what the trail cameras are showing you rather then the reports. Are you seeing a bucks that have dropped horns on your cameras?

I've taken cameras down. Coyote hunting I've seen over 75 deer with only one having antlers. Our buck/doe ratio is off but it can't be that bad.

Nothing winters on my property so would get lucky to have a doe or two on there. Not to mention my dad would kill me if I got them to stay in our place all year long.

Nothing yet. Really slow to say the least. Have only night hunted so far though.

We got 15 inches of snow over the weekend on top of the 6 we already had, plus we have had 30mph winds the last 3 days making 3-4ft drifts all over. So I'm waiting for some of this snow to melt off before I attempt to get out and shed hunt. Went out ice fishing yesterday and was walking through snow knee to waste deep the whole time so I won't wanna do a whole lot of walking in that crap lol.

I bet it would piss your dad off. I hunt my place and my cousin's which boarders each other. My boss rents my place to farm and I told him I was putting out Monster Raxx mineral sites on my place and a feeder. He said #### that, put that stuff next door. The look on his face was priceless. So I put the minerals and a feeder on both places. If he don't like it I'll fire his *** from farming.

Not sure how the law works down there,up here if you lease the land you have the rights to do what you want till your lease is up. So if your boss says no to you even though you own the land he has the right to say no to you to put out a mineral site,to take it a bit farther, he can kick you of his lease!

We don't even have a contract Rocky, we're best friends,he's my boss and I lease to him. I like to give him crap and tell him I'm gonna run him outta there just to get a rise out of him. We do lots of things for one another word of mouth without a contract. He had a heart attack and I had to single handed run his company for him this fall without a one complaint from me while he recovered. :)

I haven't checked out their videos. I'm not sure how much they change from year to year. Now that they have their Panoramic camera out, I'm guessing they'll work on that.

I think I may go with the 880s too. I like that all the cameras are the same form factor. I am really disappointed in the covert cameras black flash on field edges where there is nothing for the light to bounce off of. Hope to get better result with a low glow or flash. Be nice to have a mix of no glow, low glow, and flash all in the same form factor!

My thoughts exactly. Haven't seen any nighttime pics that would make me want covert black flash. Would be used in same situation you're talking. Think I'll try 880 instead of mp6 black.

This is my exact experience. I was running my 880s and MP6s on a field edge and the 880s destroyed my Coverts in picture quality. You could really tell the difference when the deer would be out there a little further.
