Double Dx4 has 2 more drops of the back of his p2's that are about 3 inches each.Plus he has way more mass.

Hung a new stand today and look what I found. Think this could be the 200+ incher I saw a few weeks ago? Couple objects out of the back of the pickup for size reference.

If so what did it score? Is that a spruce or Cedar? If so they love picking them out to rub as a marker for other deer .

It's a cedar. My friends buck scored 154". Had the height. Just a little short on mass. And really short on width.

I am pretty excited to see what is in there. There were deep gouges in the tree all the way up to eye level.

Ha! I just enjoy being in the woods. Also makes it easier the next year. Here is a buck I helped load up yesterday (opening day of rifle). Good / solid mature 9 pointer.

Might get some more TC and see if any made it through the winter and, really ticked of at this season ,but bowhunting can go any way. Neeed to build up some bucks for when my grand son is able & old enough ,which will be another 5 years. Man I'll be 63!!!!!. Wow ,am getting old or what? Just hoping I can still draw a bow then! Actually, hoping I'm still alive then ?? It's a dream of mine, to be able to hunt and watch my grandson stick a buck or a doe while along side Grandpa!! Whew Hooo!

I was all set for bow hunting action this weekend but it will be 5 degrees in the morning and the wind chill will be well below zero. My feet just can't handle temps that low, I wouldn't last a hour out there. Maybe next weekend.

    Season is Over Sunday
Terrible year and my God! Tomorrow is -42 with windchill, so glad I called it quits. I'd be a dried up prune if I sat in that for a full day sit man, I can't believe I used to do it all the time for a full day. Then the clothing wasn't as good as now. Goes to show you what happens when we get older :( . Ps , Might check into Ravenwear

What's a good Black Trail Cam by Covert? Is the special ops way more then an MP6 Black ? What is better in your opinion?

I AM NOT GIVING UP SO EASY. :tu:

I hear you loud and clear on the cold snapl. Suppose to be -4 hear tonight. Brrrrrrrr...... That is really cold for Kansas! Sunday the high is in the low 20s. They are calling for 1" to 3" of snow! I am going to head to Nebraska late morning. Goal is to get down in the biggest timber I can find and try to catch them on their way to the cut corn mid/late afternoon. I hope I can get in there and set up by 1PM. Should be able to sit in those temps for 4 hours or so. ( I hope)

The special ops is the mms camera. My favorite is the Black 60. Much better flash range than the MP6 Black with the ability to run video mode with sound and 12 mp vs 8mp. The special ops is basically a black 60 with mms.
