All classes are optional! You know what you have to do to make the grade. Let me know if any of your professors give credit for attendance and I'll have a chat with them!

 

Not sure if his is the same but if we missed more then 4 classes are teachers could drop is from the class. But that's why u keep a good grade and maybe do a lil kissing up to

 

That's crap dude. When I went to college I could teach the professor a thing or two in some classes. I would have been pissed if I was dropped or my grade was changed due to attendance. Effort should have no impact on grades. You either know it or you don't! This goes clear back to the BS "no child left behind" deal in schools today! My kids don't get a good education because they are waiting for other kids to catch up to the rest of the pack.

 

I've got the classes I can miss pegged. Those both fall on Mondays and Fridays.

My parents start to question why my professors "cancel" so much class when I show up at home Thursdays and stay until Monday.

We never had attendence required for most classes in college. That may have helped, but I'm guessing I would have found a way out of class.

I'm trying to be a bad influence for class and great influence for giant bucks!

Heck- tell me about it in high school here they start dropping your grade after 5 days unless u make those days up ( after class, Saturday school). I use to race motocross all over the country so I missed a ton of days and it would hurt my grades badly. So finally did home schooling so my gardens wouldn't be affected by me being gone. Now college I just make sure to plan my days that not gonna be there and show up for the rest or talk to the teacher about it ahead of time. Since I keep my grades up they are usually pretty good about it.

Boof- 4 day weekend of hunting is nice but u hit those days where everything is perfect when u wish you cold be hunting haha. But as long as you bring home good grades your parents can't complain if your missing class

 

I know what you mean, coheley. The cold snaps always hit while I'm stuck in lab listening to a heavy Russian accent talk about organic chemistry.

 

Hahaha yeah that's how I was last week all my buddies where telling me about all the good bucks there seeing on there feet and I was stuck at work and by the time I get out of work its dark

 

I was an ag business/agronomy major so all I had to say is "I'm going farming" and it got me out of "trouble" every time!!

 

Wish I could do that I would of hoped on the combine and cleared out the dang corn

No hung it up 3 years ago. Got knocked out pretty bad one time then after that they started coming pretty easy so after 8 concusions in a year decided my head is more important. Miss it like crazy though

 

Raining here pretty good today.... Oh well.... Another day, we needed the moisture. At the same time this is going to further delay the crops getting out of the fields!

 

I hear you there, they are calling for rain on thursday here. Only had a couple more fields left up on Sunday so im hoping they got a good jump to get them out before it rains again

 

There is a little window towards the evening hours. I am going to try to get out. This should allow me to slip in without making a bunch of noise. Half the leaves have fallen. Everything is super crunchy! This rain should take care of that!

 

looks like its gonna be colder and perfectly clear here today. Shot at one last night, not sure what happened. my eyes must have deceived me because the arrow doesn't lie. I hunted this morning without seeing anything, then I got down and checked around for my deer. I came to the conclusion I just gave it a haircut. My 4 sits preceding last nights hunt I didn't see any deer, but I think the new stand I put up is gonna pay off. Some reason I just had a feeling I was gonna shoot at something last night. U guys ever get that?

 

Yep! At the same time it has went the other way a lot more times!

 

I usually go into a situation with the mindset I wont see a dang thing, that way when I do, it's a pleasant surprise rather than a let down!


Freezing rain last night, freezing rain/rain system moving in today, snow tomorrow and letting up around 2am Thursday morning. Sounds to me like the perfect storm for taking Thursday off to sit in the stand all day! We can only hope!

 

I hope this lady gives me a shot tonight! 50 points for the team and a place on my wall! Heading out in a bit!
