Crazy mornin still in stand. Bucks chasing one I would of shot. Yotes chasing the deer. This piece I'm hunting has a serious yote problem I've seen em in packs of 8 here before.

Sounds like you need to take up yote hunting. It's my favorite things to hunt second to deer.

You need a squeaker. Or use your lips!

Doesn't take much of a squeak to spark a coyotes interest. Get em!

congrats to your dad Justin good looking buck.

Mark I hate them things during hunting season but after its always a good time hunting them. Nothing like predator trying to hunt predator.

Well this weekend was still slow. only seen one young 8pt chasing two does. Moved some cameras around yesterday and came across a good scrape line and a couple rubs on 6-7 inch trees. Slick is still showing up all over the place so its just a matter of time until we catch up with him. Turkey foot didnt show up this week on camera but im guessing he is hanging out in one of the last few corn fields up. Ended up taking the dog out one last time for a while last night and got on a few ducks, but only one more day of work this week and then 12 days of crack down time. I have 2 stands that I am itching to get into but waiting for a N-NE wind (seems like we cant get those winds this year )

I'll try something tomorrow to bring em in closer going to sit same stand. Three of em were there all morning they were 100 yards from me when I climbed down.

Good luck gettin an arrow into some of those coyotes mark!

Just hung a new stand a couple hours ago. There is a couple fresh scrapes which were prolly made last night, and there was a ton of tracks. Yesterday my buddy saw 8 does/fawns come from this area so I`m hoping they return tonight. Gonna hunt tonight, and then I`m not sure if I`ll make it out of work in time the next few days. Gonna take my daughter out trick or treating thursday, then headed for Ohio at midnight! I`m hoping that makes up for lost time. So far, this has been my worst season yet.

Super disappointed in you dude. ;) I certainly thought you would have spouted off way earlier when I updated the top 10 graph this morning. Enjoy it while you can. I got a feeling you won't be in that seat long!

My western South Dakota hunt was a bust. Only chance I had on a deer was a spike buck. Public ground hunting, I guess...

Back to school for the week. Might head home early for the weekend and sneak in the stand Thursday night. This year I am rifle tag-less, so that will free up my whole November for the bow!

Hunting earlier in week and skipping a few classes won't hurt at all.
