    Good morning.

Man it feels really good to be in the unofficial #3 spot and have a Pope & Young book buck on the ground this year already. Maybe at some point this year you guys will be able to feel this.;)

Tried to load photos from google earth. Didn't work.

Not sure if this will work. Trying to show my two spots to hunt from google earth. Tried copying and pasting. First photo I can't hunt the neighboring timber that is huge. I wish I could, but I'm lucky to be able to hunt family ground.

Oh and boof I seem your thread on menards stands. I have about 5 sets of there stands and sticks. Pros cheap, cons they are smaller stands, they will get the job done but not comfortable to do long sits in unless u stand up a lot. The sticks are just like any other sticks you buy really

In stand waiting for a big boy. Starting to see more deer hit on road.

41 out right now. Low of 27 tonight.

I possum. 2 does came out late. Straight down wind of me and didn't catch my scent somehow. They were younger. Lot of leaves falling.

Neighbor is combining corn. Our corn isn't going to be out for another week.

No problem with that. Next three weekends will be only hunting. Weekdays will be hit and miss for getting out. I usually find a way to get out during the week. Especially during the rut.

Corn coming out will help a lot. Farmers are going as fast as they can. Hoping to catch a drop tine buck from last year that I believe got through hunting seasons. He was really big. Body was huge. He showed up around this time last year. Hopefully he is still alive. If not, plenty of traveling bucks in the next few weeks checking the does on our property.

Fresh scrape 20 yards from the stand i've been hunting from. I'll check cameras this weekend to see what is roaming around.

Making it out tomorrow night also.

I have been on a two week hiatus due to other obligations. I will be hunting again Friday-Sunday. The weather has changed here in MN. Highs in the low 40's and lows in the upper 20's. Hopefully the bucks will be on their feet now as I have not seen one this year yet.

Hearing a lot of people starting to see more deer moving. Very close to good times.

Good luck out there. Bucks are going to start dropping soon.

Got 6 pounds of roast on smoker to cut into dried venison tomorrow. 8 days of curing. 1 day of dry rub. Should be good.

    Good luck guys.
I'm hunting through you's for the time being, will be on stand all weekend, wife's away, yahooo,LMAO, she'd kill me if she heard that! Won't hunt full out till the week end starting November 8th straight though till the 14th. If I don't get it done then well then my season is just about over. It's a good window,I can almost garuntee a shot @ 150 + buck ,but you know what that is in the hunting world, there is no garuntee! Luck is a better word! Shoot straight guys and ware your safety belts.

    Rocky

Hopefully the reports will be more interesting the next few days. Reading about a few does isn't that exciting.

Closing in on my 5th straight 20+ hour day. I feel bad not being able to contribute to the points board anytime in the near future. Harvest comes first.

On the bright side, the sooner we're done with corn now the more time I have to hunt Halloween on.
