Had a pretty good evening hunt. I did see 2 does and one other deer however I was unable to confirm what it was in the stand corning. No shot on either doe. Just finish going through my TC pics. Did have anything on there to get excited about. I few small bucks, does, some coon that is infatuate with the camera. Last but not least some type of dog... Which is odd because there isn't any houses for a couple miles.

Absolutely no day time movement! How about you guys? What did you camera show you over the last week or two?

Well yesterday had temps of 77 so elected to go duck hunting morning and evening since it was opening day, all I will say is we had shooting hahah did get a few and had fun. I between hunts stopped out at the lease and checks a couple cameras. One camera showed good news with are 9 pt slick showing up during legal shooting time. Other then that nighttime pics of small bucks and does. One sd card took a crap so no pics on that camera. Temps dropped down to 50 last night so we came out to the farm and say a new stand. So far 4 does and one young buck a good ways off. Wind switched out of the NW and high today is 60. Everything is set up perfect for tonight to get into a stand where we got most of are pics of turkey foot and the field to are south the farmer started to cut the corn. Should be a good night hopefully. On a side note talked to the farmer yesterday and he talked to the farmer to are west and I guess they got a real good buck on camera so gonna see if maybe we can see what buck it is and hoping its not turkey foot roaming off to far. Ill check back I. With u guys after tonight's hunt. Good luck to who makes it out

Highs of 50 and lows of 35 all week so it's only going to get better here on out.

Looks like a crappy stand. Bad joke. Didn't get out this morning. Trying fo get all meat processed. Up until 2:30 last night waiting on jerky to finish. Dehydrator is going all weekend. I've timed it right to get out tonight again.

Long story short, I shot a good buck tonight but haven't been able to find him yet.

He did the worst possible thing after I shot him, which was jumping in the river. We have been searching where we think he crossed at for the last four hours, but not much sign. I believe it was a good hit. Definitely not guts, it's either lung or liver.

Rain, wind and cold for tomorrow. The searching will be tough. I'll be back at it in the morning. Please say a prayer for me.

I'll try to post more after I get some rest and get searching again.
