Well boys, first sit of the season! Usually, I would have been out at least 5 times by now. But, due to my wife being sick, and work, that wasn't able to happen. I'm here now, ready, and jacked!!! Little breezy, but overcast and cool.

Good job on finding the doe
Good lick to you guys out tonight.
Sitting in the ground blind once again tonight, finally getting the rain they have been calling for all weekend. Temps dropped and forecast is calling for rain to stop at 7, so hopefully things clear up and they will get up on there feet the last 45 min of light

Congratulations to all who have us on the board. I was unable to get out since Friday, but I should be able to hunt tomorrow afternoon.

Congrats to everyone who have brought deer in so far! All my weekends from here on out are dedicated to hunting. I might get out tomorrow morning, I think the movement will be good after three days of cold/wind/rain.

    Congrats Justin
Good luck in the am Boof, just a reminder team mates, anyone who walks in and climbs a stand and forgets his safety belt and decides to stay a loft in there stand. It's not worth it, do the right thing and back out and hunt by foot . Just a reminder ,we owe it to our spouses ,parents, kids and all who know us. God bless and shoot straight. Were right in the thick of it guys and it's not even time to get excited yet!

Well guys. Big blank for me. I hunted a new area of the same property I killed my buck this year on. I did bump a big buck and some other deer on the way out. I know where they are at now. Will just need to get back in there and hang another set.

At the same time I let my friend hunt the stand where I killed my buck. He harvested a very nice buck. That's two from the same tree! The buck had a giant body and a pretty darn nice rack! Not real wide but he has some height to him!

I am not sure about the pro version. But there are two ways to reply. In the upper right corner there is a button with three dots! This allows you to reply etc.... If you want to quote a post just tap on the post itself and you will have a hidden menu pop up. When the reply window opens there is yet another menu at the bottom of the window to upload pics. If that doesn't help let me know and I'll take screen shots and post them. Then again...Maybe the pro version is different! Not sure if I have it or not!

Wow, awesome buck, Heck. Kansas public land must be where it's at!

Not sure if I'll get in any hunting this week. School is pretty busy right now, but since I am still on the government shutdown (I work part time at a fish hatchery) that frees up a little time. This weekend I am heading to western South Dakota. This will be my first time archery hunting out there.

Once our latest entries are counted, we should be in the top three! Still a lot of bowhunting to be done from my end, I am liking our odds!

Congrats to your friend Heck thats a nice buck for sure. So since it seems you have the areas figured out down there you wanna do a guided hunt in 2014 :poke::lol:

    Good luck this week Boof

Well last night wasnt much differnt then any other sit so far this year. Ended up having a young 6pt come by for some footage but thats about it. Will be going out tomorrow morning to a stand by the house where a few does have been showing up regular so hopefully one will come by.

I am going to bombard the 600 acres with trail cameras. I have a suspicion there is a lot more big bucks in the area. I think I found a honey hole. I'll do a "guided" hunt for anyone that wants to make the trek however that individual will be blind folded to and from that hunting location and all electronic devices that are GPS capable with be confiscated!

I would say its a honey hole for two good bucks in two years. Thats a differnt spot from where you shot the one this year right?
Thats fine with me as long as im in a stand with a chance at a buck close to that or even see one

Nope! Same tree. Two nice bucks in 15 days! Between him and I that spot as only been hunted 3 times. I killed my buck the first night in the tree. I took him back in there 5 days later and showed him the setup. Last night he hunted it again and killed that buck. G2s on that buck are almost 13"! G3s are almost ever bit as long!
