    Ok, first dude that scored it either was smoking crack or couldn't add. I was really having a hard time believing it scored in the 170s. It's been checked twice since so these are the numbers I'll be going with. Not as good as I initially thought. Missed a P&Y by 1 inch by my calcs w/ deductions. Once it finishes shrinking I am sure to miss it. No worries though. Still be one of the coolest bucks on my wall. ;) If someone will eyeball my math I'll post it on the scoreboard in a bit.

    NUMBER OF POINTS

    RIGHT = 8
    LEFT = 12

    TIP TO TIP SPREAD = 12 1/8
    GREATEST SPREAD = 18 6/8

    INSIDE SPREAD OF MAIN BEAM = 16 6/8

    ABNORMAL POINTS

    RIGHT LEFT
    1 4/8 1 4/8
    1 0/8 1 2/8
    1 4/8 1 4/8
    ----- 2 0/8
    ----- 4 2/8
    ----- 7 4/8

    TOTAL = 22

    MAIN BEAM LEGTH:

    RIGHT LEFT
    20 4/8 19 3/8

    RIGHT LEFT
    G1 4 6/8 4 4/8
    G2 8 2/8 8 4/8
    G3 8 1/8 8 1/8
    G4 6 6/8 2 2/8
    G5 ----- 1 3/8

    H1 4 1/8 4 2/8
    H2 3 7/8 3 7/8
    H3 4 5/8 4 4/8
    H4 3 5/8 3 3/8

    TOTAL 64 5/8 60 1/8

    FINAL SCORE = 163 1/2

    Nice job Turkish! Heck that's still a heck of a buck! Will get out this weekend for the first time was going to go out in the morn but got forced to work. Mid 70's this weekend with a south wind will keep me out of my best spots. But i'm in desperate need of some treestand therapy. Good luck everyone.

    Thanks for all the congrats guys, this was my first archery deer, so it was cool.
    Posted. Yeah, in MN anything with less than a 6" tine is considered antlerless regardless of gender. I checked the rules and this will make it count as a doe.

    Heck, I think you may need to post a date of kill for yours.

    You were all over that one Rocky! Hope to see DoubleDx4 rack in your hands soon! Happy hunting all! Stay after them!

    My goal is to put a doe down in the next week or two so I can focus on chasing a Nebraska buck as rut starts to kick in. When that happens I will have fulfilled my duties! Not to mention, I'll be in the two hundred point club. :nana:

    Beautiful morning. Sunny, calm wind and 40º! Two new bucks on camera this week. Basket 6 and a nicer 7 that was checking out a scrape I put Tink's Power Scrape on.

    I know this buck won't make too many of you guys' blood pumping but in my neck of the woods you'd be dumb not to take him bowhunting. I haven't decided yet but I would have a really tough time saying no to him if he was in range.

    Not that I really care too much but do you guys think this deer is possibly an older buck on the way down?

    All deer get my blood pump'n. Get his blood pump'n by putting an arrow through him! Looks to be a older deer from what I can see!

    Tonight and tomorrow. Doe is going down this weekend. I figure the more I want to shoot a doe the more bucks I'll see. Seems to be how it works. No problem with either.

    Nothing ,but I did manage to call in two different Bull Moose to with in 60 yards and they both held up in the tall grass, I mean tall,7ft tall, need some frost to get it to die off. One came in @ 8:15 and the other came in @10:30 just before I headed out. Dang TC had nothing on it,oh well the spot is a rutt spot, I should have expected that :(. Be back out tomorrow night, good luck to those hunting today & tomorrow.
