Got Out Tonight
Sit 5 and still no sightings,wow starting to get ansey! One moose, I did get a Sd card from my location with 17 different moose .My buddy phoned me last night and said I need to be out there cause every night he drives by and see's 2 to 5 moose out in the feild. I go and the farmer moved some old trailers back on top of my Raxx Location. Pissed me off, any ways had 4 different people stop and question me what I was doing on private property? I said I've been hunting here for 4 years. Every one phoned the owener and of course he phoned me? As I was walking in I saw a quad and a guy and girl in by one of my stands and when they saw me they beat it. Hope they didn't steal my stands. Won't find out till the weekend.Only one doe on Tc there too,man it's been bad for my TCams so far. One more TC to check that hasn't been checked this year on Saturday morning. Then I have to put a plan in effect to hopefully shoot one of these elusive bucks that haven't shown up for his Photo, Ha,ha,ha,ha.

Its about time

Youngfart- sounds like things have been going rough for you this year, hopefully they smooth out and your able to put down one of those big boys.

Well boys tomorrows high is 78 with a chance of rain. So im gonna cross my fingers it doesnt rain and go try to get a doe down in the morning, checked a cam from there the other day and have had 2 little bucks and 5 does showing up regular in daylight. Probably be camera man tomorrow evening. Sunday it looks to be a 10-15 degree drop but looking like theres a good chance of rain and the camera doesnt really like getting wet.

 

I would love to be in the woods Saturday morning & evening when the cold front hits. Unfortunately my wife says otherwise. I am going out Sunday afternoon 4 sure!

 

yeah it wont hit here until sunday monday but its bringing the rain with it which really puts a downer. What are your temps suppose to be down there?

 

Too wet to be in the field so I plan on hunting as much as possible weather permitting this weekend. Wish I could have more than one tag for my area. Got home last night at around 8:30 and there were 9 does standing next to our bales. 6 in the field road to my food plot a mile west of my house this morning. Ridiculous.

I am sure that doesn't seem like much of a cool off for some of you. Today high is 92 which is about 20 above normal!

For the most part we are suppose to stay in the 60's next week. Hoping we get a frost soon to get rid of these dang leaves, I hate not being able to see much

 

Got a little crazy last night, went to a Florida Georgia Line concert. Tonight kicks off my colleges homecoming weekend so no hunting for a little while.

Some crazy things going on right now in South Dakota. Western SoDak had a blizzard, areas had 18-30 inches of snow. Eastern SoDak is in a tornado watch for today. Those deer have to be confused.

 

Blizzard and Tornados are you guys gonna be able to get a sun tan in some areas to??

I am going to spot this evening where my best buck on camera has shown up a few times. It will be my first hunt in this area for the season. It is another shelter belt that is a travel route to the only corn field for miles. Very little hunting pressure in area until gun season which is still a month off. Wind is right..I like my chances but who knows.

This will be my only opportunity to hunt this weekend so I am gonna try and make it count.

Antlerless deer count as a doe through fish and game in Kansas. What is the reg in your state?Meaning you can use a doe tag. I would assume you would want to count it as a doe in the contest. May need to get an official ruling. Woohoo!
