We open Saturday, but I will be castrating calves Saturday morning and have a wedding Saturday afternoon so I wont be going Saturday for sure.

 

NYmark- pretty cool to see that one buck posturing.
Rest of you guys keep plugging away. We have a early doe season the 21-22 so im gonna go to one of my properties that just seems to have small bucks and does on it. Hopefully will be able to get that first deer jitters out of the way

Thanks boof. This is the first card pull this year on this property. I only hunt this piece a few times a year so not a ton of history with the deer. My buddy did pass up a 3 year old ten last year there possibly the big ten. Check out episode 2 on my youtube page it shows his hunt let me know what ya think. Here is a still frame of him.

MN opens on Saturday, we have a bunch of stuff going on so I will no be going out on Sunday night. I am a little nervous because I hunt public land and I was glassing a field the other night and had about 5 other trucks drive by really slowly. Hopefully they are all gun hunters!

 

Good bucks and that video really got my heart pumping!

 

When are u heading out to ohio to hunt mark?

 

Looks like everyone has some good candidates. Hopefully we continue to see them throughout the season. I've been really busy over here making final preparations for the opener this coming Monday. At this time they are calling for a wind straight out of the east which is very unusual for Kansas. I think I have the perfect spot for just that scenario! We will see...

As a friendly reminder from your captain you MUST take 2 (TWO) pictures of your harvest. The animal, yourself, and equipment MUST be present in BOTH pictures. Lets not have any DQs!

 

Well since deer season is still a couple weeks away still, me and the ole girl made it out on the lake for the second time this year. After not being out waterfowl for the last two years shes still got it.

I'm still about three weeks away from South Dakota's archery opener, so I have to get my hunting fix somehow. I got out twice this weekend to do some dove hunting. We limited out both days, 30 doves on Saturday and 75 on Sunday.

 

Heck yeah wish I had some good spots to do that

 

I'll be archery hunting the first full week of Nov. in Ohio Woodsy.
