Ain’t had anything to add worth noted lately. Seen a few does, but no shots. Had a camera out for over 2 months just to pull the card and realize it went dead after 2 weeks. Moved it to a better spot though with new batteries. Taking my daughter on a youth hunt this weekend, so it will be a couple weeks before I’m back out. Congrats to everyone that’s taken a deer. Blue dot is me tonight and where I had that encounter last night. Red night is where my buddy is and had a close encounter this morning with a different shooter. We believe the buck is beded down between us plus whatever else is out here. I coulda got in closer but I ain’t targeting that buck if he comes great - if not we got others.
Haven't seen a doe since last weekend at my place, just lots of smaller buck running around now. But I was able to take these mallards today off one of our potholes.

I coulda shot 4 bucks this year. I suppose if I had 2 buck tags I woulda done shot one of them. They are marginal bucks for this area - I mean 4 of them 120” to 135” I just can’t quite justify that.
Alright guys I just posted my buck to the scorecard, he came in at 121 4/8. I'll be trying to get back out a few more times this year to get after a doe, so hopefully I can add another 50 points.

I had a small 8 pt at 10 yards this past Monday and I elected to let him go. Heading out to western Wisconsin bluff country this weekend where I will be more in the brown it's down mode for some meat.
Good luck to all...the bucks are running here in PA! We've seen several in the last few days (while out driving around or turkey hunting) and some of my buddies have seen bucks running with nose to the ground. Should be a great time to be out there if you can get them to stop long enough for a shot.
