Went to check two cameras today about 500 yards behind the house as I got out of work an hour early so had time before I had to scoop the kid up. Popped into the first field 100 yards behind the house up the hill that's prob 8/9 acres big that's hayed for the farm down the road and look up and not 100 yards from me is a bear feeding on the field edge! I never did make it to the cameras as I didn't want to run it off with 4 days til the opener. But cool sight for sure. No doubt shooter sitting in the field at 2:00pm. Not the best photo but all I had was my phone in my pocket

Sorry guys. Been busy the last few days at work. Storms have been giving us grief with power outages.

Just picked these for $90. Thought it was a good deal. First millennium will see if it’s as good as people say. Image1535643172.712459.jpg

Looks like a good deal!! I love those ladders but man they are heavy if you pack them very far.

I use ladders similar to those in a lot of spots when i hang stands year to year. I will the stands down at the end of the year, but leave the ladders there. They do get heavy, but they last well and are very sturdy when you tighten them down.

I’ll only be packing them in once where I find a good spot before season and that’s where they will stay.

Foodplot19 have you worked at KCP&L long? I think we stopped by there when we went on our hunt out there last year. We brought out some line belts and different products for guys to try on out back in the training yard. I was with Buckingham Mfg at the time.

I've been here for just over 6 years. I'm part of the International Lineman's Rodeo as well. Buckingham is our "best friend" at that event. I came from the contracting side after 21 years. Funny how a wife and children will make you do funny things.
Who do you work for now?

Hey guys I sent barberpat10 a message. Hopefully he catches up with us.
Awfully warm here this weekend but I'm going to try getting a stand hung at a new property.

Good morning fellas. Heavy storms rolled through last night and this morning. Hawk tree umbrella has been a life saver. My bucks have been showing up around 730 in the morning when they do show up. Hopefully this rain gets and little bit cooler temps gets them moving.
