If no one else wants it I don't mind doing the Captain gig. So, "The Straight and Arrow" for a team name?
I'm not sure how many of us on this team are first timers to the contest but what JGD is saying is spot-on aspect. I was fortunate enough to be on a team last year that, in most competitions, would've competed for the win. We finished 3rd. The ultimate goal is to have fun and enjoy the competition. Don't do something that is out of the normal for you. Don't shoot a deer that you wouldn't normally shoot and by all means be proud of your harvest!! It's your trophy!! I still get the shakes when a deer walks out even if it's just a fawn. About winning this thing. It's tough!! Does are important as well as everyone harvesting both their deer. We had 3 guys on the team last year that joined the 200" club which means that you harvested a buck over 150 and a doe. If anyone has questions about scoring their deer please ask. It's much easier to handle it here before it hits the scorecard page. From that last thing that I saw from Brad, we are all going to get extra people to get us up to the total that Team 3 has which is 12. If it's what you guys want I'll let them know our team name and that I'm the captain and check about our extras. Thoughts.

Another stand set today that could make for a great morning sit with a S/SW on a hay field edge lined with producing oaks. Also, the last camera was deployed out. The itch is getting bad - 11 days til bear that'll pass the time till Oct 7.
Checked a couple of stands at our place this last weekend. Squirrels must be hungry. Need to replace a few seats. Still need to hang stands at 2 other farms and take some down at my in-laws place. September 15th is getting here quickly.
Funky looking buck with some potential. Hope he makes it through the season. Could turn into something really unique.
