How long can you guys bow hunt for this year? I'll SADLY be done this year December 9. We have a Muzzleloader/Second Archery Season that runs 12/1-12/9 that I can hunt everyday of with a buck or doe tag to fill. Usually, I have a buck and doe tag for this last season but state only allows 3 deer annually so I have 1 left to fill. Punched 6 of the 7 tags Vermont has given me this year, hoping to make it 7/7 come December!

Hey fellas, so I'm not sure if anyone is in the market for a new bow BUT https://www.bassandbucks.com has absolutely insane deals on just about every bow out there right now. Myself and my best friend just bought brand new Halon 7's for 620$ where the lowest my local mathews dealer would go is 900$ cash! so the deals are def there if anyone is interested. happy shopping

    You’ve had a heck of a successful season 802!

Minnesota season is open through December 31. I tend to stop once it gets crazy cold. If I’m wearing too many layers and can’t pull my bow, no sense in being out.

Our season is continuous and doesn’t stop for gun season like some other states so there’s plenty of hunting to be had. Hopefully we have a mild (not single digit) December so I can keep at it!

Morning boys. I’m in Wyoming for Thanksgiving and just arrived yesterday. My son was out hunting yesterday and on his way home tagged his third deer of the season...with his truck. :) He bought a new Tundra this spring and with 900 miles on harvested his first deer of the year, a doe. Double lunged her with the grill guard. A couple weeks ago he bagged his second doe with a head shot from his right front quarter panel. She was running hard but he was able to down her at full speed. Last night he was in a 2006 Tundra when a doe shot across the highway at full speed. He hit the brakes knowing what was coming next...and sure enough the 110” buck committed suicide plowing into the driver’s side door at full speed. It’s been a great year for killing deer for Dubbya and he hasn’t even dropped the string. I almost hit a doe last night right in town! :) Good luck this week boys and Happy Thanksgiving!

That tundra has almost killed as many deer as 802bowlife.

Well got an 8pt this morning at 815. Pics are on live from the stand. Still have my archery tag for late season and a bear tag left. Bears down here you get by dumb luck since we can’t bait. Is someone signs over a doe tag then I’ll be able to get back out sooner otherwise it’s December 6th before I can get back out I think.

Ash, since you didn’t get the pics from Ohio will this one count as your first buck? Asking because I don’t know how that all works. Might be a captain foodplot question.

    Congrats either way!

No I got this one with a shotgun. I have all the pics but not the rack to measure the Ohio deer as soon as I get it back I will put everything together and post that was my archery buck.

Thanks. This is the most I’ve hunted in a season. I’ve been out almost everyday since October 1st. Started a new job in April and with no overtime like my previous job. I hunt almost every morning since I work 2nd shift come home nap and head to work.

I think Mathews, JGD and yourself are the only ones who are fully done.

That buck I just killed last week was with my 30-06 during rifle season so I can't upload that to the score sheet. I'm sure that would spin some heads Hah. I have one buck tag left to fill with my bow this year that I can put into the contest this year! If not can still smack a doe. I have 9 days in December to get that done.

Same here! With my new job it allows me to hit the woods slightly more than I usually have so its paid off big time in 2018.
