It was a rushed day. Had to get deer to processor, shot it the day before we left. Not the buck you go to Ohio for but I was satisfied with him besides better than tag soup like last year.

I eat tag soup most every year. It don't taste too bad with a little salt and pepper.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Sorry I didn’t get the appropriate pics. You think I could get a pic of the head and my bow would be enough?

I'll check with Brad. Is the hide still on it?

Yes the hide is still on the head but the rest is vacuumed sealed and in the freezer. Image1542038451.021740.jpg
Not a huge deal either way but I could put up the pics I took earlier and combo with my new pic you can tell it’s the same deer but sounds like going through a lot of trouble for my mistake. Either way let me know

2018 Vermont Rifle tag has been punched!
    157lb 5pt
Caught him cruising the field in front of my house at 1:20pm this afternoon, ran out and dumped him at 120 yards. More meat for the freezer! The 30-06 ate this afternoon!

Foodplot...Not sure if 802 mentioned cold feet, but I did in the other thread. Thanks for the info! I got to get a hold on those frozen toes. Lol

Sorry. I couldn't remember who it was for sure. It was you though. I've had lots of different socks and these impress me the most. I've had sweaty feet my whole life. It was 11 this past Saturday morning. I was in great shape with Darn Tough's and the toe warmers.

Ash, congrats on a nice buck. Every deer's a good deer. 802 congrats now get that bow back in your hand :poke:. FP I didn't ask about the socks but will look into those. I have poor circulation in my left foot so I'm willing to try about anything. Thanks. Keep it rolling boys.

    Congrats 802! You’re on a roll!!

Quick question, does anybody review the score sheets for basic accuracy? Not trying to be an ass and I’m not perfect by any means but there’s been a few throughout the pages of people scoring points that are actually the main beam. 8s with g4 scores, a 4 point with g2s credited, etc. Seem like honest mistakes to me so just curious.
